Our active design community will help you explore both traditional-building methods and the latest technical advancements. You?ll engage in dynamic conversations about innovation, sustainability, and the making process as you work with world-renowned faculty -- from celebrated furniture designers to MacArthur fellows. You?ll also benefit from real-world experiences outside the studio, including opportunities to work with partners such as Design Within Reach and the California Academy of Sciences.
To extend your learning even further, you?ll participate in off-campus gallery exhibitions, national competitions, and established industry events such as the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York. Armed with a comprehensive portfolio and a network of professional leading designers, you?ll be prepared to define your own career path in furniture design.
