Bachelor [Spanish] From Concordia College

By taking Spanish and Hispanic studies at Concordia, you?ll find an excellent blend improving your language skills while examining Hispanic culture, preparing you for a career in international business, social work, education or graduate school.

Few colleges can boast the depth of knowledge of our Spanish faculty and breadth of opportunities the department offers. The majority of our faculty members are native speakers who grew up in a Hispanic culture. They have also worked in other capacities as native speakers ? journalist, legal court interpreter, and in theater as a director and actor.

The department offers many ways to practice Spanish. Every major lives abroad for a semester and many students in the department visit Spanish-speaking countries for shorter experiences. You can live in the Spanish apartment building on campus or work at Concordia Language Villages, an immersion program for children and adults who want to learn other languages. In addition to faculty, the college has two native assistants on staff to assist with conversational language.
