Messiah University has rolling admissions, meaning there is no deadline by which to apply. The application is free from approximately July 1, when it is made available, through Nov. 15.

Whether students would like to teach in a public or private school in the U.S. or abroad, Messiah’s middle-level education program, with its nine different concentration options in four content areas, will prepare students for success. As a student in the middle-level degree program, students will take introductory and upper-level courses in specific content areas, as well as education. This combination of education courses allows students to develop strong content knowledge and teaching skills.
As a graduate of the middle-level education program, students will be equipped to secure positions such as:
- Public or private school teacher
- Nonprofit human service agency worker
- Graduate student

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must submit their academic records.
- Students' transcript records must include results/marks for individual courses, as well as diplomas or certificates required in their country as evidence of qualification for university.
If a student's native language is not English, they are required to submit scores of either TOEFL or IELTS to English language proficiency.
Students are required to submit their SAT/ ACT scores.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for full admittance to the TEP.
