Gujarat Maritime University offers two specializations namely Maritime Law and International Trade Law. The course has been a commitment to bridging the knowledge gap in the maritime and shipping sector. Applicants are selected on the basis of a National Level Online Remotely Proctored entrance test followed by a Personal Interview of the candidate. If the seat remains vacant after the GMU Admission Process, the same will be filled by Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

Gujarat Maritime University LLM Eligibility

  • Any candidate interesting in taking admission in LLM must be having a degree of LLB or its equivalent from a recognized University 
  • The candidate must have at least 50% of overall aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA in the case of General Category and 45% or equivalent CGPA in the case of SC/ST category students.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of qualifying examination are eligible to apply and also the ones who completed the degree and are awaiting results can apply.

Selection Criteria

  • Eligible candidates will be allowed to appear on a National Level Online Remotely Proctored entrance test followed by a Personal Interview of the candidate.
  • The weightage of selection is 70% for the written test and 30% for the personal interview.

If the seats of the college remain vacant after the GMU LLM admission process, they are filled through merit secured in the CLAT test followed by a personal interview.
