Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering) From IIIT Raipur, Raipur

Admission to B.Tech will be through JoSAA Counselling. Students have to register for counselling on its official website. Applications for Ph.D courses at IIIT NR have to be submitted online through the following procedure:

• Visit the official portal of IIIT Naya Raipur.
• Download Ph.D admission form in pdf form.
• Fill the downloaded form and submit the application fee.
• Application fee for Ph.D courses is INR 500 which has to be paid through SBI I-Collect.
• Mail the application form along with the documents and e-receipt at phd_admissions@iitnr.ac.in.

• Education certificate (Self Attested)
• Work experience (Self Attested)
• National level tests (Self Attested)
• OBC/ ST/ ST / PH certificate
• Coply of Fee payment receipt
• Sponsorship letter
• No objection certificate

Applicants must submit following documents at the time of admissions to B.Tech:

• JEE Main score card

• Ex-Servicemen/ Freedom fighter certificate

Admissions into the B. Tech. Programs of IIIT-NR are based on JEE (Main) 2024 rank only. There are three different categories through which students are admitted :

• All India Quota: 35% of seats amounting to 95 seats (32 in CSE, 31 in ECE and 32 in DSAI) are in this category. Candidates who completed their school education in any part of India can apply under this category. These seats will be filled through JoSAA 2024 counselling . So, their eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA 2024. All reservations will be as per the norms of the Government of India.
• NTPC Quota: 15% of seats amount to 40 seats (13 in CSE, 14 in ECE and 13 in DSAI) in this category. Candidates employed with NTPC or their wards who completed their school education in any part of India can apply under this category. Their eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA 2024. All reservations will be as per the norms of the Government of India. These seats will be filled through the IIIT-NR online counselling process
• Chhattisgarh (CG) Quota: 50% of seats amount to 135 seats (45 in CSE, 45 in ECE and 45 in DSAI) in this category. The following are the eligibility criteria for admission under this category :
• Candidates must pass the 10th and 12th standard examinations from the schools in the State of Chhattisgarh only.
• Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD candidates) in their 12th standard examination.
• Candidates’ date of birth must be on or after October 01, 1998. For the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwD, the upper age limit is relaxable by three years, i.e. SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PwD candidates’ date of birth must be on or after October 01, 1995. Only the date of birth recorded by the Secondary Education Board will be considered.
• Candidates who passed their 12th standard examination or any other qualifying examination in 2022, 2023 or 2024 shall be eligible. The candidates who appeared in the 12th standard or equivalent qualifying examinations in 2021, did not pass in 2021, but passed in 2022 are not eligible.
