Ques. Where can I find links for RGUHS Karnataka MBBS previous years question papers?

● Top Answer By Kunal Kumar on 20 Oct 21

According to some of my friends studying in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Karnataka, here are the books he mentioned would be important. The question bank by the author is Singhi Yatiraj is the best option when it comes to pursuing a question bank.  The book is a well-framed set of previous year question papers and follows the RS pattern. It can be referred by any student of MBBS for studying their course effectively.  The best part is that you can purchase it online....Read more

Ques. Is the RGUHS correction of the 2nd year MBBS strict or liberal?

● Top Answer By Sandiya Banerjee on 05 Mar 22

I have a few friends from RGUHS. According to them, corrections are neither too strict nor too liberal. So, how much you score will depend on your performance and luck. Sometimes students get unexpected marks, but those are isolated events. If you have performed well in the examinations and included a few diagrams and flowcharts then you don’t need to worry about the marks. ...Read more

Ques. Do you need to pass separately on both papers of the first MBBS RGUHS?

● Top Answer By Sreemona Dasgupta on 11 Oct 21

There is no need to pass separately on both the papers of a subject in the first year of MBBS RGUHS. You just need to make sure to score above 50% of the total that includes your internal examinations, both the papers and the theory viva. According to the RS3 regulations and the marks distribution, it is not mandatory.  Internals carry 40 marks, total marks for both papers combined is 200 marks and the viva has 40 marks. So, the total becomes 280, out of which it is necessary for you to score above 140 to pass the subject. This holds true for the subjects- anatomy and physiology. As for biochemistry, only half of it will be applied to the subject. ...Read more

Ques. Are repeaters eligible for gold medals in MBBS rguhs?

● Top Answer By Rajat Tokas on 10 Mar 23

Only regular students are eligible to receive a gold medal for achieving the highest marks in a particular subject or for the highest score in an academic year. Repeaters, unfortunately, are not eligible for this recognition. However, this doesn't mean that repeaters should feel discouraged or disheartened. There are other ways to excel academically and achieve success. By focusing on your studies and consistently putting in the effort, you can still achieve your academic goals and earn good grades. It's important to remember that success is not just measured by awards or recognition, but also by personal growth and improvement. So, don't give up on your academic pursuits and continue to work hard towards achieving your goals. With dedication and perseverance, anything is possible....Read more

Ques. How do I apply for the RGUHS permanent certificate MBBS? I didn't receive it through mail till date.

● Top Answer By Nidhi Banerjee on 29 Jun 22

If you haven’t received your permanent certificate from RGUHS, you should contact your college or university. There can be two likely cases - your college hasn’t forwarded the convocation form to RGUHS, or you forgot to submit the application form.  If you have the original application form and you haven’t submitted it, you can contact RGUHS. They will verify your MBBS mark sheets, certificates and provide you with the degree certificate.  If you don’t have the application form then you should have a Xerox copy. Check if the Xerox copy has RUHS seal with date on it. If there’s no seal and date, then RGUHS, hasn't received your application. You should contact your college for further details....Read more

Ques. Are supplementary exams tougher from regular exams in an MBBS. I am going to write the exams this month, and my college is affiliated from RGUHS Bangalore. How strict will the marking be?

● Top Answer By Swastika Handa, on 02 Nov 21

No, supplementary exams are not tougher than normal papers. Some out of the syllabus questions come in exams. But that is not something to worry about.  Prepare from the question papers of the previous 10 years.  Proper hard work and dedication are necessary to score good marks. The markings depend on the teachers who check the paper.  Some teachers give good marks because they know that students are under pressure during exams but have worked hard enough.  But some teachers check the paper very strictly, ending up with average scores. The marking is something that is out of your control. You can only prepare well for the exam so focus on only that. Try writing good answers, neat diagrams, and stay on topic. Simplify your language. For exams, time management is also essential. Do not put all your time into finishing one question. During practice, solve the previous year’s question papers in the given time to get accustomed to the pattern. This will help you complete the exam without any difficulty....Read more
