JNTU Anantapur invites candidates to join various specializations offered in M.Tech and M.Pharm courses. JNTU holds an entrance test, 'AP PGECET', to select the students for their M.Tech & M.Pharm. courses.

A bachelor's degree in pharmacy is a pre-requisite for M.Pharm. course and  B.E./B.Tech./AMIE degree is essential for admission to M.Tech course. The application forms are available online and are to be submitted online only. The selection of eligible candidates will be based on the rank scored in AP PGECET. JNTU Anantapur Ph.D Admission Process

  • While allocating seats for M.Tech. and M.Pharm. courses preference is given to GATE qualified students.
  • After the intake of GATE qualified students is over, the remaining vacant seats are allotted on the basis of the rank/marks scored in AP PGECET.
  • Holding a rank alone does not guarantee admission. The candidate has to appear for counselling and must have all documents verified.

Spot Admissions:

  • The vacant seats under category – A, sponsored, and Seer Academy JNTUA will be filled via spot admissions.
  • Spot admissions are for the candidates who have not taken admission in any colleges in AP PGECET allotments.
  • Candidates who have applied or are already in the sponsored category of the university may not apply, but they can take part in the counselling directly by registering at the DOA office.
  • The priority will be: a) GATE/GPAT score, b) AP PGECET rank, and c) Marks in the qualifying degree.
  • For spot admissions, candidates can apply by downloading and filling the application form from the university's website.
  • The candidates have to submit a registration fee of INR 1000 for each course or college the candidate wishes to fill. The demand draft should be in favor of 'The Registrar, JNTU Anantapur' payable at Anantapur.
  • The candidate also has to submit attested copies of:
    1. Degree, date of birth, service and salary certificates
    2. Valid GATE Score card
    3. PGECET Hall Ticket and Rank Card
    4. Qualifying examination consolidated marks memo, showing the percentage of marks obtained.
  • On the day of counselling, the candidates have to bring the ORIGINAL:
    1. Degree certificate/provisional certificate of qualifying examination
    2. CMM/ all Marks Memos of the qualifying degree
    3. Valid original GATE score card
    4. PGECET Rank card
    5. SSC Certificate
    6. Transfer Certificate from the candidate's previous Institution
    7. Migration Certificate from the candidate's last attended university
    8. Integrated Permanent Community Certificate (for SC/ST)
    9. NOC and Sponsorship certificate from the present employer in the prescribed proforma if not submitted along with the application (if applicable)
    10. Service and Salary certificates (if applicable)

JNTU Anantapur Ph.D Application Process

  1. Application forms can be filled on APICET's website.
  2. After opening the online application portal, the candidates can pay the registration fee of Rs. 600 (Rs. 300 for SC/ST).
  3. Applicants can visit any of the online payment centers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and pay the application fee and hence receive a 'Transaction ID'.
  4. Application fee can also be paid through one of the two modes: AP Online, or through debit/credit card.
  5. Log in using ID, fill the application form and submit.
  6. After filling the form and uploading the scanned copies of their passport sized photo and signature, the candidates can submit their forms.
  7. The candidates are not required to upload any certificate etc., although SC/ST candidates have to bring an attested copy of their caste certificate along with them in the examination hall.
