Library is very good .. We have three lib in our campus also separate department lib
Faculties are very good and I like their teaching process and skills.
Fest are always best in my university because the people around them are very supportive and hardworking
The faculty at Department of History is great and they helped me cultivate my analytical skills.
Also the campus is best for its academic excellence which is the best thing for me
The campus is good, one will definitely enjoy campus life here
Infrastructure is high quality, course is great division, teachers are friendly.

Dislike

As a university, I think the campus area is small compared to that of other universities.
This is one negative point of our college: there is no placement cell, and students do not get any chance for company exposure unless they go for a walk-in.
The students who are from a very poor background opt for scholarships, and for girls, there is the Kanyashree scholarship

Presidency University - a University worth studying in

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course of Life Science since I was always interested in studying Biology and since after 12 I did not have a very clear idea about each sub-discipline of biology hence I didn't want to choose to do BSc in any particular discipline of biology. This course is very well-balanced and packed. For those who have a goal or interest in R&D and research-oriented life in biology, this course is a golden opportunity. The student-faculty ratio is moderate. Initially, it might seem a bit high but since many students leave for getting into medical college or somewhere else, the ratio lowers and it's pretty okay. The faculty of Life Science dept. is highly qualified and experienced in their own particular sub-disciplines. All our professors have done their Ph.D. from great universities in our country and outside (US, Korea, Japan, etc.) Their teaching method is very research-oriented and proper guidance is provided by our professors at every step of our course. Exams involve mid sem & endsem per sem

Remarks:

There was no admission exam for Presidency University in our year 2022-'23 but generally, PUBDET and PUMDET exams take place for undergraduate and postgraduate course admission in other years. Boards percentage was important for our admission including board results of both 10th and 12th and the total marks obtained in the particular subject in which we are applying for admission. No particular cutoff was announced but generally, students getting above 90% are selected (general category). Reservation benefits are available as per the West Bengal govt. norms. Application forms and details are available on the Presidency University website (presiuniv.ac.in). It would have been better if an entrance exam was conducted, which will resume in 2023 as is the news.
