5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most multinational companies visit for campus placements i.e. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, TCS, Mahendra, etc. Percentage of placement from various branches, such as 95.2% in CSE,88.8% in CHE,94.8% in ECE, etc. I want a take good placement after completing this degree.
After qualifying for JEE Main I had apply for counseling on JOSAA. To get admitted to this institute all have to appear in jee main and also have to qualify for the exam, cut off is not fixed, it depends upon the number of applicants but in general, for the general category, it is 88.8 percentile and to get admitted to this college the cut-off percentile is 90+.

NIT DURGAPUR normally the placements commence at the beginning of the final year i.e, the seventh semester in the month of July. All students who expect to graduate from the institute by the end of the academic year are eligible for the placements. Many Reputed companies recruit students from here like Microsoft which offered a 51LPA package this year and other top recruiters include morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Capgemini, Amazon, Vedanta, etc.
Admission to NIT DURGAPUR BTECH course is done based on Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main scores followed by JOSAA Counselling. Additionally, CSAB Special rounds of counselling are conductes by Central Seat Allocation Board for NIT+ System seats that are remained unfilled in JOSAA. Also, CSAB Special Round 2 Seat allotment is the last counseling round to be conducted for NIT DURGAPUR BTECH admissions. Half the seats are reserved for the Home State Quota and the other 50% for the Other State Quota. JEE MAIN constitutes reservation criteria for candidates belonging to backward and economically weaker sections.

The admission procedure is based on rank based on the jee main examination and 12th marks. All the processes are done online only, after some format you have downloaded like if you obc then obc certificate format, or declaration certificate which is available on the website of nit Durgapur. Reservation is based on parents' income and some categories also, if your parent's income is less than 1 lakh then you have to pay 13000-15000 per semester excluding the mess fee which is the same for all. The admission process is very smooth here is no need to worry about that
SBy - StudentYou have to qualify for JEEMAINS with a good percentile. It was nearly 98.00 approximately. Since my rank was 18452 and am a general candidate I got admission with electrical engineering at NIT Durgapur through josaa counselling. Everything was arranged by JOSAA without a hinge.
MDBy - Maitreya DasWe need to write jee main and qualify for the exam. After that, we need to apply for the main counseling and opt for the required clg . then after you will be allotted a seat in the clg according to the cut-off rank. After the allotment, you will receive a mail from the institute regarding the joining of the institute.
