Candidate must have passed in two-year postgraduate degree or equivalent with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

Admission Procedure:

Admission to the PhD. Program (both formats) is based on Academic Record, Performance in the Admission Test and Interview. Candidates who are qualified in NET/SLET/ GATE (2016-17) are exempted from the Admission Test. Admission Test will consist of two papers, each comprising 50 objective type questions. Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-II shall consist of questions based on the discipline selected by the candidate.
