I chose this course as I want to build a career in Literature and the University is quite reputed and has a good ranking. The faculty-student ratio is not adequate. It's 1:60 on average with some streams exceeding 70 students per teacher. The faculty has one good quality in common, they are all interested in teaching and good with it. The one quality that would have lighted it up as if they put in more effort to create an environment of learning and not provide just exam-centred structures. They are qualified teachers although these few years a lack of professors has made our college allow assistant professors to take up classes which is not the most amazing experience.
To get admitted to BHU for any course there is an entrance examination. Earlier BHU conducted its own entrance but from 2023 students have to clear the cut-off of the Central University Entrance Test(CUET) conducted by the Government for all Central Universities. One can find the entrance exam form, dates and fees with all the guidelines on the CUET website. I belong to the general category, therefore, I availed the girl student benefit. Other benefits can be availed by the respective categories on submitting the required proofs. The improvement most required is constant official news to be released on the website regarding the dates of results, counselling and the rest of the process. It should be completed within a stipulated time period. The management should handle the technical and other faults more effectively to save the students from stress and uncertainty.
In 3rd year ( 6th sem), placement drives take place on campus. Those who take foreign languages like French, German, etc as honors are offered placements by various companies like Amazon, Reliance, Zomato, etc. There is a placement team which helps students find jobs and internships. Salary packages vary from 4-5 lakh p.a. But if you are pursuing UG courses in subjects like English, History, Geography, etc you usually don't get a chance for placement. I am pursuing B. A with English as honors. There was no official placement drive in my department and I intend to pursue a PG course in English.
The year I took admission i.e. 2020, BHU held its own UET(University Entrance Test) for UG & PG Courses. For BA (Hons) courses, you need to be 12th passed irrespective of stream. "bhuonline.in" is the official website of BHU, and there you can apply for various UG & PG courses. But Starting in 2021, admission to BHU is through the All India CUET (Central University Entrance Test). This means, Now you can apply for courses in BHU through CUET only.
My course- is Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology. BHU has the largest faculty strength (34) of AIHC in the whole nation. The student-teacher ratio is also good. And are quite easy to pass. Midterm exams and semester exams ate the two main tests.
I had my high school with Biology stream. I moved to BHU for a better hold in Arts. Eligibility of course - Class 12 from any recognized board. Application is streamlined by CUET- UG. Application fees are decided by NTA annually. Reservation- Seats are reserved for various categories. Physically challenged students compulsorily get a hostel. The admission process is good. But they should maintain regular contact with students while admission.
I choose this course because I want to get a graduation degree in the art stream. A student ratio of my faculty is 7:3 boys and girls. Arts faculty teaching methods are very good. Like lecture theatre. Every 6 months arts faculty conduct a semester exam. It is very simple to pass the semester exam.
Students have qualified 12th pass and appearing then applied bhu entrance form. And minimum 45% Marks 12th then eligible for apply form. The application form find the NTA websites and Sarkari result.com or bhuonline.in At the present time entrance form fees 750. I want not change the admission process because at present time process very simple.
I am a student of art faculty and I have chosen the course economics, mathematics and statistics. The ratio of students and faculty members is quite good. When we talk about the qualifications of faculty members. There are three types of professors first professor second associate professor and third assistant professor. The term exams date is pre-defined starting the semester.
First, we talk about the eligibility for the exam, you have passed class 12th. And now you can find the application form on the nta website named cuet ug. Here the reservation is also applicable for ews, obc, sc and st category
I chose this course because my ambition is to make a civil servant. The ratio between boys and girls on the main campus is about 5:1 The teaching methods are literally good. The timing of the exam is little late, But the level of exam is quite moderate.
Yes, the university may take admission before June, because lots of student faces session late, about 2 to 3 months. It seems also because of the timing of my admission in this University during the period of covid. But you do not think so much, because my session is a little late about 2 months.
I want to go for a Management role therefore I needed something relevant to my future aspirations, therefore, I choose the Economics-Maths-Stat combination. Faculty to student ratio is healthy in my opinion, Faculty as well is knowledgeable and experienced. Exams were timely and of moderate difficulty.
My admission process was somewhat unusual compared with what most applicants will experience nowadays. Even though the exam was postponed to later dates, other processes were rather smooth. Most of the information was available on the official website. University kept me updated via email.
The curriculum is very good and competitive as compared to other universities around India. The faculty members are well-qualified and always up to the task. They are all phd and other degree holders. The exams are timely and results also come quickly.
There was an entrance test at all India levels. The applications are put on the internet well in advance and everyone knows about them. The cut-off isn't very high but is high for hostels. Reservation benefits will apply if you belong to the reserved category.
I choose BA in economics because I am very passionate and interested about economics economic problems and development In faculty, there is around 900 Admission that takes place in different hons courses. the exam is at the time exams are not so difficult to pass.
The students at Banaras Hindu University Varanasi Uttar Pradesh from BA hons faculty of arts. Admission in BA hons by CUET UG entrance exam. a lot of internship opportunities but not suitable for placement.
My faculty members are better than other faculty members bcoz Arts is Humanities, It teaches how to deal with people and also the curriculum is the best. I chose the course because I wanted to do upsc, so thought that upsc syllabus would help.
In 2020 each central university will conduct its own entrance exam UG and PG. But nowadays NTA conducts an entrance exams through CUET. Must have Intermediate for graduation. In our time there was an exam of 360 marks, in which the cut-off for the first counselling was 220. Reservation students were given cut-off according to their caste like the minimum cut of 170 for OBC students. Then the admission process is like this.

I appeared for CUET 2023, and the required part was the English and general tests. We had to register on the website of BHU. After the results were announced, we filled preference sheet for eligible courses. Further, cut-offs were released in several rounds, I got my seat in the first round. I locked the seat and paid the admission fee. Later, we filled in the preference for subject combination and was allotted later on. The admission letter was released, we got our documents verified offline, and the admission was finalized. The admission committee at BHU is quite liberal and student-friendly, but they took time lot more than expected, which delayed our admission process by a month or two.
JSBy - Jayanti SinghI had applied for B.A Course in BHU. For this, I had to appear for the CUET Exam. Eligibility of this course is student should be 12th pass or appearing. I filled application form online on cuetsamarath.nic.in. The application fee is 1200 and the exam is held in two phases. The first cut-off of B.A in BHU was 349/400 and I have acquired 357.
