Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Geography/ Geology/Statistics/Industrial Chemistry/Computer Applications Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics. For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) with Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications as Main Subject, the candidate should have passed Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics. For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) with Botany/Zoology as Main Subject, the candidate should have passed Biology at the qualifying examination.
Home Science Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks in aggregate of English and three subjects from amongst Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Home Science
Agriculture Senior Secondary School Certificate in Agriculture or in Science (With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks in aggregate

Aligarh Muslim University B.Sc. Selection Process

Selection will be based on the entrance test conducted by the university.

  1. Merit list will be uploaded by AMU for entrance test according to the marks secured in the qualifying examination
  2. Examination will be offline (pen and paper based)
  3. Question paper will consist 100 questions
  4. Exam will be MCQ based
  5. Duration of entrance exam wil be two hours
  6. Qualified candidates will be invited for counseling and document verification
  7. Candidate have to report to the university with required original documents

Aligarh Muslim University B.Sc. Application Form 2023

Candidates can apply for admission at Aligarh Muslim University only through Online mode. The Application Form, other than online mode, will not be accepted in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate for each course of study. Follow the below-mentioned Steps to be admitted to AMU BSc Program:

  • Visit the University website www.amucontrollerexams.com.
  • Follow the instructions strictly as given in the Guide to Admissions 2023- 24 and on the website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be disqualified from admission.
  • Candidate should then register online and provide his / her correct and functional email because the username, password, etc., will be sent to this email.
  • Candidate should Registration only once for applying to the multiple courses. 
  • After Registering candidate should log in using his/her username and password. A dashboard of the candidate will be available to him/her for filling out the form. 
  • The candidate should fill out his/her Profile carefully. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. After saving the Profile, the candidate will be asked to review and confirm that the particulars entered are correct. The candidate will not be able to Edit/Update his/her Profile after confirmation. If a candidate finds any mistake in his/her Profile after confirmation, then he/she will have to re-register with a different Username and Password to complete all the entries afresh.
  • Candidate should fill in details of his/her educational qualifications by providing the name of all examinations passed, including qualifying examination, year of passing, Examination Roll No., University/Board from where passed, and the percentage/CGPA obtained. 
  • Upload the important Documents that are required for Admission along with thumb impressions and colored photographs.
  • Submit the Application fee in online mode only. The admission fee is not accepted in offline mode. The application fee is INR 700 for all Category candidates. For B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, the application fee is INR 600.
  • The Application Form is submitted electronically the moment the candidate makes the payment of the processing charges and payment is successful. 
  • Candidates must take the printout of the Application form and keep it for future reference.

Documents Required

  • Scanned copy of date of birth certificate/High School Certificate of the candidate.
  • Passport Size Photographs.
  • Scanned copy of Marks-sheet / grade-sheet of qualifying examination. 
  • Scanned copy of documents in support of claim under special category, if any.
  • Scanned copy of documents in support of Professional Experience, if any.
  • Scanned copy of No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed at present.

Ans. As per AMU guidelines, no corrections are allowed after the submission of online forms. In case of any corrections if necessary, such candidates have to create a new user login and fill the form again and pay the processing charges as usual.
