Likes
- I like the coding culture that is in my college is excellent.
- Placement oppurtunity given by vit is very good where every student is guarenteed to get atleast one job in hand when leaving the campus.
- The college has a very good placement record, so we go out with flying colors
- If we came to studies part it is very good opportunity to utilize in vit.
- The placement training and orientation is very good and helps us get jobs.
Dislike
- The research carried out by teachers is on very boring topics, something that doesnt inspire me at least.
- In the final semester, students usually head out of VIT for internships for their final projects.
- Our college always tries to show off their college placement records. They only show the icing on the cake, but the reality is often disappointing.
- Loan facilities are bad, with an interest rate of 10 percent. If you have a scholarship and a CGPA of more than 8, you will receive 10,000 rupees. It is offered to students from poor backgrounds. The loan facilities provided by VIT universities are bad.
- There are hardly any extracurricular activities, but even if there is an event, the management is very poor and always fails to send the information to everyone.
- Preference is given to 9-pointers, which is a really stupid rule, and the hostels arent really affordable as well.
- Some hostel blocks should have room changes, which are the only negative comment about VIT college.

Placement Experience:
Students will be eligible for placements from the pre final year 2nd semester. Companies like Google Microsoft Amazon Walmart Accenture philips dell wabtec etc visited. Profiles are of three category super dream dream and regular. Super would be more than 10lakh and dream would be from 6lakh to 11lakh and regular would be from 2 lakh to 5.5 lakh. Mostly 100 percent placements are guaranteed. My plans would be working in a corporate company with good package.
Remarks:
60 or 65% eligibility criteria they have fixed. But mostly they select students with above 80 or 85%. The application form will be available in the official website the candidate has to select the required fields like ug or pg and then they can choose the course to apply first the candidate has to register and then they can apply the form. Application fees is around 850 and application dates also displayed when we apply for each course. Reservation is not availed. No the process was quite good.
Placement Experience:
Almost everyone from CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical gets placed. The average placement for CSE students is around 1500000. The highest package rose to around 1.02 Cr. All the major companies including Google, Microsoft, Deeshaw, Morgan Stanley, etc visit campus.
Remarks:
The examination held at VIT, also known as VITEEE has been alleged with having a lack of transparency. Consequently, many students feel that the rank they've achieved, what later decides the fees they'll need to pay are suspicious.
Placement Experience:
You are eligible for internships in the 6th semester and you will get many top companies and the highest package of 63lakh. you can the placements in vitap.ac.in site average package of 7 lakhs as of 2021 there is super dream(above 10 lakhs), dream offers in placements 2938 super dream offers are offered to students as of 4th April in 2022. Around 85% of students are getting placed in VITAP. I am planning to grab one super dream offer and do an internship to gain some experience before that
Remarks:
Minimum 60% in boards in maths, physics and chemistry. You can find it on VIT official site, the application process is extra. The application fee is 1250 rupees. The last date for the 2023 application process is 31st march
Placement Experience:
Talking about placements, the college provides really great opportunities if you are capable of grabbing it no one can stop you l. Like if you have skills you can also get a package of crores and if not then not even for 4lacs.
Remarks:
You have to appear in viteee exam conducted by vit every year(forms out for the 2023 batch). Then on basis of your rank college branch and the subject will be applied to you by counseling session. You can fill out the application form from viteee website. There is no such reservation but a fee category that depends on rank like on 8000 you can get cse at vit Vellore in the 5th category i.e. 5lac per year.
Placement Experience:
From the 5th semester placements are placements in college, the highest package is up to 1cr per annum, and the average package is 9lkhs, and 60-70% of students get placed. available, hp,viper,emphasis, and so on are giving job
Remarks:
Nothing much, but some more assistance is required for all the students, and more guidance is required to be provided as the admission process is somewhat tough they should not think of this as a burden and complete their process simply.
Placement Experience:
6-semester students become eligible for campus placement. Campus placement is good. The highest package is 1cr. Many companies come for placement like Amazon, Wipro, etc. 90% of students placed. My plan after getting my degree is I want to do an MBA.
Remarks:
Integrated Mtech admission basis on 12th marks. No need any entrance exam for integrated Mtech. If you want to take admission in btech then you need to give entrance exam VITEEE. you can find application from vit website.
Placement Experience:
From the third semester. Mercedes, Infosys, intel, oracle. 1.2 crore and an average of 1200000 per annum. The percentage of the students who are getting placed is 90.25 percent. I would like to work hard for the company that hired me and help in the growth of my company and family.
Remarks:
Applicants must fill the graduate aptitude test in engineering/VITEEE through a online form. After the applicant is given a application number through he can be generated a password for the online exam conducted in the VIT online code tantra. There will be conducting two mock-test and one entrance test.

I took the entrance exam and I got a merit rank. I got a rank of 3007 in the open category of viteee exam. I found the application form with the help of my college friends and lecturers. The application fees are also on the website.

I have appeared for many entrance exams. At first, we have to write the exam. After getting the results there is a cutoff for marks. Based on the cutoff our college fees are decided. The lesser the rank we get the more fee cutoff we will get. And if you have any caste reservation you will be availed for some extra cutoff depending upon the caste you are. This is how the admission process can be done.

The course demands a good rank in the entrance exam VITEEE, which is the entrance exam of this institute. The application form opens around January and the application fee is 750, dates vary yearly. Reservation is only for the army and stuff ig. otherwise, it's great.
