Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 2-year Full-time M.A. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
B.A. Hindi, (or) Part-I in U.G. having studied Hindi Literature for four semesters or 2 years, (or) Any UG Degree (3 of 4 years) with Rashtra Bhasha Praveen of Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras or Equivalent. A certificate in Diploma in Linguistics (Hindi Medium) (or) Diploma in Jainology (Hindi Medium) (or) Diploma in Buddhism (or) Diploma in Hindi (or) Diploma in interdisciplinary subject studied in Hindi Medium with 6 credits (i.e. 2 semesters for 200 marks) may be considered as equivalent to 1 year Foundation course i.e. 6 credits, 200 marks. B.Com./B.B.A. programme with 1 year Part-I language in Hindi + Certificate in Diploma course as above mentioned can be considered as equivalent to II year Foundation course papers for 2 semesters and 6 credits (Maximum Marks – 200) for entry level eligibility conditions for M.A. Hindi.
