The faculty is very good and, to relieve students from stress and tension, every 10 students will have 1 faculty advisor.
They support us with internship and placement opportunities as they have a very good and separate placement cell for helping their students. Along with internships, they also have a very good placement cell.
The placements in the Institute are excellent, with a placement percentage of 80.6% for BTech students and 90.6% for dual degree students.
The fee structure is around 1.08 lakh for tuition fees, and the opportunity for scholarships for economically weaker sections is readily available and relatively easy to obtain with good grades.
The library is loaded, classrooms are top-notch, and we have sports, clubs, and student-run groups like Kerala Kala Samiti, Marathi Mitra Mandal, etc., for each state.
I will be staying in the hostel, which is very good in terms of cleanliness and facilities. The rooms are shared by the students and the food is very nice.
Since 2016, IIT Madras has secured the number one spot as the best engineering college in India.

Dislike

There are scholarships available for OBC-NCL category students, provided their annual income is below a certain amount which I am unsure of.
Sports facilities were not there, and I will not talk about extracurricular activities since they were hardly present.
The food quality in messes is pathetic, but there are alternative cafes where we can take advantage of better options.
Faculty doesnt understand student life well, as they always have a very negative image of us.

IIT Madras Mtech CSE review

Placement Experience:

The placement process takes place in September and interviews are held in the first week of December. Placements are best in the country. The highest package this year was 1.2 cr domestic given by aphagrep to an Mtech cse. The average is around 30-35 lpa. Almost all students get placed.

Remarks:

The eligibility was Btech passout or in the final sem, a Valid GATE score. The cutoff of gen was 820 gate score. The application fee was nominal. The application form is present on the college website. The application form comes after the GATE result. One needs to participate in COAP counselling after that.

The best IIT college for mechanical engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the MS course from the Indian institute of technology Madras with a specialization in Mechanical engineering because I am also a student of mechanical engineering in my bachelor of technology. The faculty member available in this college are very-very highly qualified and well knowledged and the ratio is about 180 teachers. The College exams are following the semester exams pattern in which the students have to give the exams every semester to get promoted to the next sem and it is medium level hard to pass the exam.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 23070 per year

Remarks:

The eligibility for the MS course from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras is about having above 70% marks in your graduation of B.Tech or B.E to get selected here and the students also have to clear the entrance exam for getting admission in IITM with tough competition. You can get the admission application form from the website aur sarksri website to fill out the application to take part in the entrance exam. They don't think the college needs any type of improvement in their admission procedure because an entrance competition makes a student perfect and helps them to know the value of hard work.
