You should know that there is a difference between IPRS audited reports and non-IPRS audited ones. Well, my brother is currently enrolled in the DEM program. So, I can tell you about what he has learned so far and what was his experience as he’s still in the first term of the course. About the course: The course format is a whip-up of courses that will help you comprehend the commercial implications of modern digital technologies. A full semester is devoted to live business simulation projects. The first term focuses on business topics that include operations, economics, and accounting. In addition, subjects like Statistics and Advanced Analytics are offered in the first term, laying the framework for future terms in which the emphasis would be entirely on digital technology. This is the first program in India where Design Thinking is taught as a full-fledged course over two terms by two industry stalwarts and academics who have previously taught at IIM-A, B, and K. Faculty: Now getting down to the Faculty, they have been excellent so far, and there’s no reason to believe that this will not continue in the coming two terms. Members of the advisory board for this new course include representatives from Flipkart, IBM, and Deloitte, to mention a few. As a result, this was created in partnership with industry leaders. To summarise, my brother’s experience there has been excellent so far, and like every other student he too enrolled in this course, he has high expectations for the following semesters. Why are IIM Ranchi and Raipur underrated compared to IIM Udaipur even after better placement records?

I think the single most important reason why IIM Raipur and Ranchi are considered below IIM Udaipur is the lack of proper marketing. IIM Udaipur has managed to make its mark through enough marketing and promoting research culture. The IIMRs is also flawed in the sense that they are located in extremely poor economic states. This flaw overshadows all their features and the fact that they have better placement scenarios than IIM Udaipur. Every IIM has set a certain goal and is gradually climbing the ladder to reach its level of excellence. The same is the case with IIMRs. In just a few years these two will be among the best IIMs in India.

Which is the best college in terms of placement in OPS/consulting/general management among IIM Raipur, Rohtak and Udaipur?

I am aware of the placement scenario at IIM Udaipur only as my sister recently graduated from it. Try to analyze what exactly you want from your MBA program. What is it you are seeking and how to achieve it? Once you are sure about that, college does not matter much. Honesty both the IIMs you mentioned give an edge to each other. Still if I would have to choose one, I would go for IIM Udaipur because of its recent success stories. IIM Udaipur has seen a rise in international rankings like QS and FT. Earlier these rankings included only the top IIMs A, B and C. IIM Udaipur has proven its worth by appearing on such international rankings. It is also the youngest B-school in the “world” to be featured in the FT MiM Rankings. IIM Udaipur is heaven for a research enthusiast. Its premium research culture is the reason for its recent rise in rankings. IIM Udaipur placements 2023 has been concluded with 100% placements recorded. IIM Udaipur average package increased by 14% and stood at INR 20.3 LPA whereas IIM Udaipur highest package stood at INR 36 LPA. A total of 302 students were placed. Indian Institute of Management Udaipur popularly known as IIM Udaipur is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and despite the pandemic, the institute has achieved 95% placements and that too in the month of January. The institute has concluded its placements for the flagship two year 2020-22 MBA batch. Around 315 students participated in the placement drive and 100% students were placed.
