The most economically backward students, whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum, shall get full remission of the tuition fee.
The other economically backward students, whose family income is between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakhs per annum, shall get a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.
The SC/ST students whose parental income is less than 4.5 lacs will get a free messing scholarship.

All mentioned institutes were founded in the year 2008 except IIT Indore which was founded one year later in 2009. Reputed companies such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Samsung, Cognizant, Amazon, Cisco, Flipkart offers jobs to students of these IITs. The CSE branch at IIT Indore is comparable to the CSE branch of older IITs. Also, it is the highest recruiting branch at IIT Indore and more than 98% of students were placed in 2019. According to last year’s placement record, the average package offered at this IIT was 16.06 LPA and the highest package was 43 LPA. IIT Patna has a hundred percent placement in the CSE branch with an average package of 16.76 LPA. The highest package received was around 40 LPA (on-campus). Similarly, IIT Bhubaneswar also holds a record of a hundred percent placement in the CSE branch with an overall average package of 11.44 LPA. The highest domestic CTC offered at this IIT in 2019 was around 39 LPA. The CSE batch at IIT Ropar received an average package of 13.83 LPA, up from 11.5 LPA. IIT Patna should be prioritized over IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Ropar for CSE. It is because IIT Patna has taken a great leap forward in the domain of coding culture. It provides better research facilities and opportunities for placements in reputed companies. The placement scenario at IIT Bhubaneswar is also quite good, in 2019 there was a 100% placement form CSE. However, there is a considerable shortage of faculty in IIT Bhubaneswar. Furthermore, IIT Patna has marked its distinction in ACM ICPC (Olympics of Coding). The institute was successfully able to reach the world finals twice. This clearly illustrates the excellent coding culture at IIT Patna, which is undoubtedly unparalleled. The institute has also performed quite well in Robocon and in various IIT Tech Meets. According to 2019 placement highlights, a total of 50 students got placed from CSE with an average package of 16.76 LPA.
