Nit Jalandhar worth it or not !!

Campus Life:

There are many different fests and events occurring here. Tech fest here is known as techniti which is conducted at the end of February. The fest here is called Utkansh and it is conducted in the last week of March which going on now. There are many clubs and groups for different interests. Many different fests and events are occurring.

Hostel Facilities:

The college have provided hostel facilities and the hostels are well good. The food in the hostel is new as it is of Punjabi type but nice to enjoy it .registration process for hostel and affordability is good.

The campus infrastructure and culture are so friendly. The college environment is full of greenery. I am enjoying it. The college has many useful clubs which help in developing the personality of the individual.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostels are big and are through out college with separation of boys and girls hostel. The freshers of 1st year are given separate hostel to feel at home and not get threatened and afraid by the life of college . Hostels provide lavishing meals and sanitation is good

Good NIT

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facility is good, it is clean usually and spacious. A Table, a bed, an almirah and washing machine, a geyser etc are provided to the student by the hostel authority. For any person, the washroom is a very big thing which is very clean and cleaned every day by the staff. meal quality is good. The menu usually contains two days of chicken in a week for non-vegetarians and paneer for vegetarians, there is mithai, kheer, pulav, dahi, egg, milk and many more things available on the menu. And great thing is that menu is prepared by the students only so it is a good thing. The registration process for a hostel is very easy a google form is released on the official website of the college in which we have to fill in the amount asked and the registration for the hostel is done. Locality is good nearby the college. We can easily get a room and pg in nearby areas

Campus Life:

There are three fests in the college's annual fest utkansh, tech fest is techniti and one is the foundation day of the college these fests are happening in march, January and October respectively. In a big library, there are many books course-related and non-course related is available which are issued by the authorities. The classrooms are awesome, and full of Modern equipment. All the sports facilities are available in my college such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis carrom board, chess etc. And for the extracurricular activities, there are the fine arts department music department etc. There are many clubs for music, dance, drama, fashion, communication, debate etc.

Perfect College for B-TECH

Hostel Facilities:

Hostels are also as a hostel as we see in other colleges but here we are provided with very furnished and airy rooms having ample of space and in the first year we are provided with 4 seater room. Meal quality is also very very good and provided daily sweets at night. For PG we have to travel around 5 km in city.

Campus Life:

The annual fest is Utkansh which is also running an event right now in our college. There are many events and one another is known as Techniti. Here, there is a very big Library having ample books. This college organizes many events and also goes to different NITs for participation. Here NSS club works for the social welfare of our needy society.

Campus Life:

UTKANSH, TechNITi, and Bharat Dhwani are the main 3 annual fests of our college. Bharat Dhwani is the annual celebration of the inauguration day of the college. TechNITi is the technical fest of the college and UTKANSH is the biggest Cultural Fest of our college. Due to Covid, there are a lot of variations in the month of these fests. If we talk about social life then it is amazing as you meet new people here and also can participate in different clubs or societies to get some more exposure. One can join any game in college like Football cricket athletics archery and many more as one's wishes. There are a lot of clubs like SPICE, RTist, Zeal, Pryaas, LADC, GDSC, Daksh, and many more.

NIT Jalandhar has three girls' hostels. GH1 - First year students are given accommodation in GH1. It has double sharing and four-sharing rooms. GH1 has a mess inside the hostel and it provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. GH1 has LAN facilities. It has a tv room and a reading room. GH2 - Second-year students are accommodated in GH2. It has two seater and four seater rooms. The mess facilities are similar to that of GH1. Most BTech students are allotted four-seater rooms. The hostel y=timing is 10 pm. GH2 has both LAN and WiFi facilities. MGH - Final year, third year and PhD students get accommodations in MGH. It only has double-sharing rooms. PhD students stay in one-seater rooms. NIT Jalandhar has 7 standalone hostels apart from mega hostels. These are named as: Hostel 1 and 2 Hostel 3-7E Mega hostels Hostel 1 has no internet facilities whereas Hostel 2 has a LAN facility. You cannot use A/C or coolers in the first year. But the fans that are installed will be more than enough. From the second year you can avail A/C and cooler facilities. There are three hostels for girls at NIT Jalandhar namely GH1, GH2 and MGH. My friend was in GH1, which is the first-year hostel. Some rules that girls need to follow here are: Bring your own cutlery and crockery Bring your own mattress, pillow, blanket, linen, curtains, bucket, mug and table lamp. Girls are not allowed to leave Hostel premises after 8:00 pm You will have to mark your attendance in person. You cannot change your allotted room Follow the instructions mentioned in the notice board Any complaints should be reported in writing to the Caretaker with a copy to the Warden. Apart from these rules, the girls hostel follows a strict schedule for every meal. NIT Jalandhar NIT Jalandhar has 7 old hostels and one Mega hostel. The Mega hostel has 3 blocks with a capacity of 800 each. Hostel 1 and 2 are for first-year students only. Hostel 4 and 5 is for postgraduates For girls, there are 2 old hostels and one mega hostel Hostel 6 and 7 have very small rooms but are pretty famous for their food. Old hostels don’t have Wi-Fi connections but only LAN ports. The rooms at Mega hostel are bigger and newer. The food is also better here. The timings rule is more strict at old hostels than at Mega hostels. IIT Delhi IIT Delhi has an air-conditioned common mess for both boys and girls. During vacations, a special mess is run for both boys and girls It is compulsory for all hostel residents to avail the mess facilities. Apart from the common mess, there are two cafeterias, one located in the academic building and the other in the common mess building which caters to the needs of the students and faculty.
