TISS Mumbai offers an AICTE approved and UGC recognized 2 years Master in Hospital Administration (MHA) Programme for those aspiring professional managers in the rapidly growing hospital sector. The TISS MHA (Hospital) Degree is designed to be completed in 4 semesters comprising a duration of 2 years to a maximum of 5 years.

- The MHA degree is designed to be completed in four semesters over 2 years, but it can be completed in up to 5 years from the time of enrollment.
- For the MHA program, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any stream or a 4-year Bachelor's degree in medicine or paramedical science, and other 4-year programs such as pharmacy, engineering, law, or veterinary science.
- TISS charges a total fee of INR 1.49 Lakhs for the MHA course and the total intake is 50.

TISS MHA Eligibility Criteria & Fees
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any area or a four-year bachelor's degree in medicine or paramedical science, as well as other four-year programs like pharmacy, engineering, law, or veterinary science.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for MHA Programme.
- Candidates require to successfully complete all the requirements of their final year eligible degree by October 31 of the admission year.

TISS MHA Admission Criteria
TISS Mumbai selects PG students based on their performance in the CUET PG examination.
- TISS Admission Procedure consists of two stages Group discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) round/ Pre- Interview Test (PIT). For both rounds, only eligible applicants will be shortlisted.
- Candidates' knowledge of the chosen subject will be tested during the GD and PI rounds. Students must report to the designated institute with all required documents.
- The college will issue a Merit list for the final selection of students based on the results of all rounds.
TISS MHA Application Submission
Candidates have to apply for the TISS ODCL course through the online application form only. Below mentioned are the steps involved in filling up the form.
- The candidate has to register with an emailId. The candidate will be sent a password which is to be used to login and fill the online form.
- After login candidates have to fill in their basic details, academic details and have to mention the programmes they wish to apply for in the order of preference.
- Pay the application fee (depending on the number of programmes applied) either by depositing cash in any branch of SBI or through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking and
- Scan and upload a photograph, signature, marksheet of the last exam passed, and other necessary certificates.
- Candidates having lack of access to internet services (remote area) can write to Mumbai campus for the printed application form. They have to fill the application form and submit it before the last date of submission.

Ques. Can a simple graduate apply for the TISS MHA Programme?
Ans. Yes, for getting into the TISS MHA program, candidates should be a graduate in any stream or acquire a 4-year Bachelor's degree in medicine or paramedical science, and other 4-year programs such as engineering, pharmacy, law, or veterinary science.
Ques. Does TISS consider a sectional cut-off also for its MHA admission?
Ans. Admission to TISS MHA Program is based on TISS NET score followed by the PI round. TISS doesn't consider sectional score for its MHA shortlisting and the minimum TISSNET cut-off for an applicant is 65% for open category candidates.
Ques. How many seats are allocated for TISS MHA Programme?
Ans. Every year TISS accepts an approved intake of 40 to 50 candidates for its MHA Programme. However, for its MHA Batch 2023, the MHA batch strength may go higher.

Ques. Is there any reservation criteria for TISS MHA applicants?
Ans. Yes, the reservation criteria are as follows:
- Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer), and Economically Weaker Section (EWs) receive 15%, 7.5%, 27%, and 10% quota, respectively, for each of the programmes, according to the norms of Government of India.
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Kashmiri refugees, and Widows/Wards of Armed Forces Employees will each receive 5% of the extra seats.
- As per agreement with the Ministry of Development of North-East Region, Government of India, Guwahati Campus allotted 66% of the seats to candidates from eight North Eastern States.
- Candidates from other areas of the world compete for the remaining 34% of seats.
