I wanted to build my career in food and nutrition. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:35. The faculties are highly qualified and efficient in teaching the required subjects. The term exams were held on time and the level of difficulty to pass the exams was moderate.
This college has a BTech course. Faculty members are good, kind and polite. All faculty members are highly educated. Because of COVID our first year was covered only in six months three months for each semester.
btech in data science is a very good course to opt for in this college. The faculties here are really good. most of the faculties are post-grad and some have done phd in their respective subjects.2 sem exams are conducted and in 1 sem 2 unit tests are conducted
Since it is a separate university, we have a different curriculum than other colleges of Mumbai University. It is almost similar but has small differences. Our faculty members are very supportive and helpful. There is a 75% compulsory attendance rule. All the faculty members are well qualified for their roles. Teaching methods are a combination of old-school and modern Technology. There are 2 unit tests each semester and a final sem exam. These exams are perfectly designed to map a student's understanding of the subject.
I chose this course as I always wanted to pursue photography and I was good at arts & design. Faculty was very limited, and in all four years of the course not much changed in faculty & the strength of the class was around 40 students as the fashion communication department had only 1 batch. Teaching methods were satisfactory, teachers were very well knowledged about the subject and helpful too. Term exams usually used to be after 4 months, there used to be 2 term exams in an academic year. Passing difficulty was tough, attendance played a very crucial role, and girls with less attendance were not allowed to take exams (whatever may be the reason).
