Eligibility Criteria

For Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences: You should have a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent from a recognized university or institute with minimum 50% of marks. If you have an M.Sc. or equivalent degree and have an aptitude for research in Engineering, you may also be considered for admission.

For Ph.D. in Science or Mathematics: You should have an M.Sc., M.V.Sc, M.Pharm. , MBBS, or equivalent from a recognized university or institute with minimum 50% of marks. If you have a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree and have an aptitude for research in Science or Mathematics, you may also be considered for admission.

Admission Guidelines

You will be selected on the basis of an All India written test conducted at the national level and approved by the Academic Council. However, if you have qualified JEST, NET, NBHM, DBT, GATE, DST Inspire examinations, you are exempted from appearing for the written test. If you are shortlisted or have qualified for the above exams, it will be followed by a Selection Interview by an expert committee nominated by Director of CI (Constituent Institutions).
