Calicut University Integrated M.Sc (B.Sc+M.Sc) is offered in 6 specializations. The Integrated Programme is a five-year (10 semesters) program with an exit option after the completion of VI Semester. Students who have successfully completed according to the minimum mark/grade required to pass and apply for the exit option will be awarded degrees in the areas concerned. The degree awarded as per the exit options is as equivalent to the degrees of any non-integrated program. students, who continue the program and successfully complete X semester will be awarded Integrated Masters Degree in the area concerned. Calicut University Integrated M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for Integrated M.Sc admission at Calicut University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Specialisation Eligibility
Integrated M.Sc Bioscience Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects are eligible for admission
Integrated M.Sc Botany with Computational Biology Candidates who have passed (Eligible for higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to with Biology as a compulsory paper are eligible for admission
Integrated M.Sc Chemistry Candidates with a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate for General category, 65% marks for OBC and 60% for SC/ST/PWD at +2 level of education (Intermediate, CBSE/ICSE/HSC/ and all State Boards or Equivalent), with science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for admission
Integrated M.Sc Physics Candidates with a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate for General category, 65% marks for OBC and 60% for SC/ST/PWD at +2 level of education (Intermediate, CBSE/ICSE/HSC/ and all State Boards or Equivalent), with science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for admission
Integrated M.Sc Psychology A pass in higher secondary or equivalent as approved by the Government of Kerala or Central Government of India with 50% of marks in aggregate
Integrated M.Sc Statistics Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics group in Science stream

Calicut University Integrated M.Sc Admission Process

Admission to most of the Integrated M.Sc programs such as Bioscience, Physics, and Chemistry is done on the basis of an entrance examination. The final selection will be based on the combined score of the entrance examination and marks secured in the qualifying examination. Admission to remaining courses will be solely based on merit, for which marks in the qualifying examination will be considered. The admission process usually starts in July and the application forms are available online on the official website of the university. Reservation of seats is provided for candidates belonging to different categories, such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, as per the rules of the government.
