Kerala University MA Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for a candidate applying in Kerala University under the MA course is as follows:

  • Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in the respective subject. .
  • Candidates should have completed 10+2+3 from a recognised Board or university with a minimum of 50% marks or CGPA of 3.5 or above on a 7-point scale. 5 or above on a 5-point scale.
  • Relaxation of 5% is provided to the reserved categories.
  • Candidates waiting for their graduation results can also apply.
  • Candidate should be a citizen of India. Foreign national students are not eligible to apply.

The selection criteria in Kerala University is completely based on the entrance exam results. Candidates should secure at least 25% of marks in the entrance exam followed by the counselling procedure. Candidates should be present with all the original documents at the time of counselling. Failing to produce any document at the time of counselling will result in cancellation of admission.

  • Candidate needs to visit the official site and click on registration.
  • Enter the basic details as asked in the application form. Upon entering all the details, the candidate will receive an application number and password for future reference.
  • Login again with the application number and password and enter all the personal details, qualification details.
  • Upload all the desired documents as asked in the form.
  • Click on the online button for fee payment. Fee can be paid by online method from debit/credit card, net banking, challan etc.
  • After fee payment, upload a recent passport size photograph and signature as instructed in the form.
  • Verify all the information once before the final submit.
  • Click on submit and then print the application form for future reference.

Entrance Exam Pattern

Admission to MA in Kerala University will be conducted via an entrance exam. The pattern for the exam is as follows:

  • The medium of examination is English.
