Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] (English) From Kannur University, Kannur

The application form for B.Ed. program is present on Kannur University’s official website. Here are the steps to download the form:

1. Go to official website of the university.
2. On the right side, in the ‘Latest News’ section, wait and click on ‘B.Ed. Application form’.
3. The application form will open in a new tab in a pdf format, save it.
4. Take a print out of the saved application form and fill it carefully. (Fill the complete form, otherwise your form might be rejected)

Completely filled application form along with all the necessary documents and an application fee (In the form of a DD made in favor of Finance Officer,  Kannur University and payable at SBT, Kannur University Campus Branch needs to be sent to the following address:

• Secondary School Leaving Certificate
• Qualifying Degree/ PG certificate and of higher qualifications, if any.
• Mark Lists of qualifying Degree Examination/ Grade Card(All Semester/year with cumulative Grade card)
• Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate.
• Nativity, Income and Community Certificate for those who claim weightage or reservation benefit
• Experience Certificate in Form IV of KER for claiming admission under Teacher's quota and for giving weightage for teaching experience. These certificates should be signed by the Head of School and countersigned by AEO/DEO
• Equivalence / Eligibility certificates from the university in the case of double or triple main candidates and degree holders of universities outside Kerala.
• Any other certificates from the competent authorities for the claim of admission under any specific quota that is Sports/NCC/Differently Abled Persons / Linguistic Minority/Defence personnel etc. if applicable. • The original Challan/Demand Draft/Pay-in-slip for Rs. 500/-(Rs. 150/-for SC/ST)
• Certificates proving BPL among Forward Community

Aspirant seeking admission in 2-year full-time Bachelor of Education [B.Ed.] must be graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate There is no upper age limit for admission to B.Ed. Courses.Kannur University B.Ed. Admission Prospectus.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks/grades in the qualifying degree examination. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview, prior to which admission to the selected candidates shall be secured.

Special preference will be given to the candidates with master’s degree. Extra marks will be given to the candidates on the basis of their marks/grades secured in their post graduate degree examinations.
