Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification for admission to the M.Tech. (CSE) programme is 65% in four-year bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e. B.E., B.Tech., or equivalent) in any one of the following (or equivalent) branches.

Final-year students expecting to graduate by July 2023 may also apply.
Selection Procedure:
- Admissions to the M.Tech. (CSE) programme is on the basis of performance in the GATE examination. GATE scores (valid as of June 1, 2023) in CS - Computer Science and Information Technology will be considered for admission to the M.Tech. (CSE) programme.
- There is no fixed cut-off of GATE scores for admissions. In 2022, M.Tech. (CSE) admission offers were made up to GATE score of 583. The GATE score cut-off for 2023 will vary depending upon the applications received.

At the time of admission, every student need to pay Library Deposit of INR 4,000/-.

As cleanliness is very much important for all of us the hostel and campus of IIIT Bangalore are well maintained which is not the case at NIT Surathkal. This is very important for all of us and cannot be neglected.
- Study Curriculum: The study curriculum of IIIT Bangalore is very much up to date and it has all the important topics and syllabus which is important in today's world and will be helpful for the students in their future.
- Admission based on merit: The admissions at IIIT Bangalore are completely based on the student's merit and there is no influence of other factors like caste, gender, management quota, etc. Students get admission based on his/her JEE score.
- Good research and industry opportunities: This college provides good research facilities to its students and the prime location of this college also helps to get more focus and attention which plays a major role to get further opportunities to its students.

Life at this college can be difficult which is similar to many colleges in our country, as the environment there is not that fancy like it is shown in our movies but one can get used to it after spending a few months.

NITW offers better placement opportunities and ROI. According to 2021 highlights, NIT Warangal CSE average package was INR 20.02 LPA. While the highest was INR 43 LPA. Oracle India Pvt Ltd, Accenture, Capgemini, SAP Labs were the major recruiters. NIT Warangal charges only INR 5.19 lakhs for B.Tech CSE. So, ROI is pretty good.
As NITW is an older institute, it has a bigger alumni base. As a student of NITW, you will get better exposure and networking opportunities.
