Ph.D. (Commerce) From Ganpat University, Mehsana

Ganpat University offers Ph.D in both online and offline modes. Part time scholars can also seek admission as independent scholars when they fulfil the eligibility condition stated in Ph. D. Regulation and having at least 10 years of teaching/research/professional experience with at least 05 publications in referred journals. 

Note: A Relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories

Selection Process:

Admission to Ph.D program will be granted on the basis of Entrance exam conducted by the university followed by an interview. This test consists of 2 sections.

Section A: Research Methodology- 50 Marks

Section B: Subject specific

Part 1: MCQs - 25 Marks

Part 2: 5 Descriptive type questions- 25 Marks

Personal interview

Ganpat University will conduct a personal interview for those candidates who will qualify the Entrance test.

• Candidates with minimum 50% marks score in Entrance Test will be eligible for Personal Interview.
• Relaxation of 5% Marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be given for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layers) Differently-abled category. (Proof of Category is essential)
• Applicant who has qualified and with prescribed validity in UGC-NET (including JRF/SLET/GATE/GPAT/Teacher fellowship holder) the additional 5% marks shall be given in Entrance Test. (Proof is essential) 
• The detailed schedule of Personal Interview will be placed on Ganpat University website after declaration of Entrance Test result

Admission Procedure: Applications for Ph.D program are invited online. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the University. 

1. Visit the University Website.
2. Login and Register and enter the relevant data.
3.  Upload the scanned copy of the marksheets/certificate.
   1.  Marksheets of final semester of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree
   2.  Degree certificate of Post graduate Program
   3. Upload the cast certificate/ Gold Medal Certificate/ Valid Scorecard of GATE/GPAT/NET/SLAT, if applicable.
4. Pay the Ph.D Entrance Exam fee Rs. 3000/- Online.
5. Submit the Application, print the duly filled Application form.
6. The print of duly filled Application form along with prescribed documents and evidence of online payment of Rs. 3000/- is to be sent to:
