After the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. A lot of companies visit here, and you get offered a lot of opportunities based on your CV. The average package is 14,00,000. And almost all students get placed.
You need to give JEE Mains and then if you clear JEE Mains, you have to clear JEE Advanced. JEE Main application forms are available on the website of JOSAA, almost a month or two before the exam is conducted. Then if you pass the cutoff from your category, if you're from SC/ST/OBC or EWS or PWD, your cutoffs are generally low. After clearing JEE Main, you attempt JEE Advanced and on clearing the cutoffs, you get admission at the IITs.
I wanted to get into IITD so I had to compromise with the course so ended up with chemical engineering. The professors are pretty knowledgeable. And they would suggest books through which we could develop our ideas and thoughts. Exams are held over a regular period of nearly 40 days and they are pretty easy to pass as long as you regularly attend class and do assignments.
I had to give JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams. After getting the required AIRs, we can easily get admission to any of the IITs, in my case, it was IITD. I don't find any area lacking where any improvement could be suggested.
I chose this course as per the best course in the best college I was getting according to my crl rank in jee advanced. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:10. The faculty is highly educated and have pursued their education at the world's topmost educational institutes such as Stanford etc. The teaching methodology is great with respect to the overall development of a student as a leader of society. The term exams are held frequently and yes, it is quite sure that they are quite difficult wrt regular studies.
The admission process was to give India "S most prestigious entrance exam IIT-jee mains and advanced. One can appear only twice in jee advanced in his/her entire lifetime. Eligibility for this exam is one should be or have passed 12th in the PCM stream or pcmb stream. Its application forms are released on jee mains nta website while advanced forms are released on the respective IIT forum's website which is the conducting body of the respective year. Jee mains form fee was rrs1000 and the advanced is -rs2800. Forms are released in January and April every year. The improvements can be made by releasing a single efficient website to ensure a fast and comprehensive procedure process of admission.

PPBy - Pramod PrajapatEligibility of B.Des program at IITD is 12 pass with any stream with minimum 75%. Anyone who have cleared UCEED exam is eligible for the program but due to very high competetion, very few students get a seat here. There are only 20 seats in IITD B.Des program. Among 200 seats in total in all IITs. The exam is conducted by IITB, you can find more about the exam at www.uceed.iitb.ac.in The admission process is quite good and fair but it would be better if its a bit faster. It took 7 months after giving the exam to get to the collage.
