Remarks :

Eligibility of B.Des program at IITD is 12 pass with any stream with minimum 75%. Anyone who have cleared UCEED exam is eligible for the program but due to very high competetion, very few students get a seat here. There are only 20 seats in IITD B.Des program. Among 200 seats in total in all IITs. The exam is conducted by IITB, you can find more about the exam at www.uceed.iitb.ac.in The admission process is quite good and fair but it would be better if its a bit faster. It took 7 months after giving the exam to get to the collage.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course here is quite good, Instead of having to choose specifications in the starting like many of the design collages, you get to learn evrything and can choose the best for yourself. But it also becomes headache sometimes when you have to study some courses which you don't like. The faculties here are very supportive and best in there feilds. Unlike the usual collage faculties Design faculties are very supportive and engaged with the students.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I am in the first year and don't know much about interships but there are really good aportinities present in here. Not even internships but also few industry projects are there you can get. You just have to be active enough to know about the aportunity available as there is also competetion for internships

Placement Experience :

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is around 2lakhs per year. And hostel fee is around 1 lakh per year. But there are many scholarships available for financialy weaker students. Student can avail student loan very eaisily and also many scholarships are introduced after admission.

Campus Life :

Anual fest of IITD is Rondezvous which is Aias largest cultural fest in terms of numbers. And tech fest is Tryst, which is also a great fest. Almost evrybook is available at IITD libralry if not a hard copy then you canfind a soft copy on official website of central library of IITD. The sports and extra curricular cultural is very supported here at IITD.Very big events like Inter IIT are organised on a very big scale to support sports. The re many clubs for students to join, If you have intrest in something you can most probably find some club to take it forward.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilites are okay okay. They are just enough to live a good life. Don't expect a lavish life like at you home. Unles you are alloted the newest hostel i.e. Dronagiri and Saptagiri. But they are only for PG students.
