National Institute of Technology Patna popularly known as NIT Patna is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and has recorded highest ever CTC of INR 1.8 Cr. which was offered to a student of Electronics and Communication department by Meta and another student was offered a package of INR 1.6 CPA

The institute has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2021 and till now 78.82% of offers have been made.

In the placement drive of 2021, the Highest CTC stood at INR 10 LPA and the Average CTC stood at INR 5.04 LPA.

The maximum number of offers were offered to the Electronics and Communication Engineering department and some of the top top recruiters like HDFC Bank, Bharat Petroleum, Microsoft, Samsung, SAP Labs participated in the placement drive of 2021.

The department of CSE yet again emerged as the most popular department, as 80 students received over 120 placement offers. The department of ECE managed to bag over 78 placement offers while the IT department bagged 93 placement offers.

The highest CTC offered was INR. 43.17 LPA and the average CTC stood at INR. 8.8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, students are eligible for internship and students can sit for the campus in their fourth year. For internship and placement, many companies visited our campus like amazon, google, reliance jio, Mercedes, CRED, BPCL, godrej, federal bank, Infosys, texas instrument, oracle, Samsung, Hyundai, tcs and many startups. For the session 2019-23,636 were registered for placement and all were placed and they have offered 717 jobs. The highest package is 52 LPA and the average is 14.14 LPA this year. percentage placement is 100%. My plan after getting my degree is to sit in campus placement.

Internships Opportunities:

For internship companies visited to give internship is amazon, google, texas instrument, Mercedes, jio, these companies give stipend of about Rs.46000 per month. Companies test coding skills and projects, which students had made, and then accordingly they select interns.

Placement Experience:

Placements in NIT Patna has grown significantly in the last 4 years. Highest on campus placement for 2023 was 52 lpa. Average package is around 12 lpa. Nearly 80% of the students were placed in 2023. Placements are done in the final year. Some student go for jobs while some opt for higher studies like M Tech and MBA.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like Amazon, Parth, Delloite and many other provide on campus internship opportunities. Governmental companies like NTPC and ONGC also visit Our campus to provide internships. A student has to do a major project and a minor project. Students get internships mostly in 3rd and 4th year.

From the 6th semester itself, students are available for campus placements many companies arrive on the campus and we have a 90% placement percentage every department has its separate percentage highest package offered till now is 45 lakhs and the average packages 21 lakhs percentage of students getting a place is 90% manage students want to do get exam after B.Tech degree.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like Jio and Accenture provide internship opportunities. There are many different types of roles that many companies provide for example Larsen and turbo provide the role of junior engineer for their various projects operating in Bihar.

Campus placements start in 3rd semester and undergo till the 4th Semester and even a few opportunities come after that. Companies' visit to campus is variable. As with most Architecture and Planning schools, almost all the students are placed while submitting their portfolios to reputed firms.

Internships Opportunities:

WRI India (Ross Center) offered me to work with them during the summer of 2021 under their WRI access Competition. The project involved working on WASH issues with the Koli community in Mumbai, India. The monthly stipend was about 50,000/-.
