Osmania University (OU) Hyderabad provides a full-time Masters of Law (LLM) in various specializations for a duration of 2 years. The minimum eligibility to apply for the LLM program offered at OU Hyderabad is a bachelor’s degree in relevant specialization. The admission to LLM is done through the Osmania University Computer-based Entrance Test (OUCET) or CPGET.

Osmania University LLM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to LLM course offered at Osmania University (OU) Hyderabad shall fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria:

• Must pass a graduation degree in law (LLB) or equivalent in relevant subjects.
• For admission to LLM Constitutional Law: Must score a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in LLB or equivalent.
• Must have a valid OUCET score

Osmania University LLM Admission Guidelines

Selection of candidates in the LLM program offered at Osmania University will be based on  (OUCET). Admission seats will be granted to candidates based on their merit-rank through OUCET.

How to Apply?

• Applicants shall visit the official website of Osmania University @osmania.aci.in
• Click on the “Apply for OUCET/CPGET”
• Create an ID with a password for further proceedings of admission
• Pay the application form fee of INR 400 for general candidates and INR 350 for SC/ST/PH.
• Fill in the application form with all the required details (personal and academic details).
• Candidates shall choose their OUCET exam center and photographs and signatures have to be uploaded.
• After completion of the application process, take a printout of the application form for future references.

Osmania University LLM Course Details

Osmania University (OU) Hyderabad offers a full-time LLM course in 6 streams for a duration of 2 years. The specializations offered are tabulated below:

Course Duration: The minimum duration of the LLM course is of 2 academic years divided into 4 Semesters. While the maximum duration is 4 years with 8 semesters. Each Semester shall comprise of 15 weeks of instruction.

Prescribed Coursework: The LLM program of Osmania University has core courses, thesis, and research papers. Candidates shall have a minimum of 75% attendance to qualify for semester-end examinations.

Award of Degree: Candidates will be awarded LLM degree if they secure the minimum percentage requirement as prescribed in the curriculum.

Osmania University LLM Placements

The Law College of Osmania University (OU) has its own Placement cell. The placement cell takes care of all placements for LLB and LLB degrees. Students are placed in various law firms, LPO’s, as senior high advocates. Several alumni from this College are established as Judges and advocates in several Courts, as Civil officers.
