MIT Pune B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the MIT WPU B.Tech Course is as follows:

  • B.Tech Eligibility (for Maharashtra State Candidates): 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects
  • B.Tech Eligibility (for All India Quota Seats): The criteria is same for All India Candidates as that of Maharashtra State Candidates. The only difference is candidates who have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology are not eligible to apply.
  • B.Tech (Lateral Program): Diploma in a relevant discipline with at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward Class and PWD category).
  • Postgraduate Program (distance): 10+2 from a recognized board.

MIT Pune B.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection process for B.Tech regular program is as follows:

  • B.Tech admission is based on the JEE Main 2024 Score or MHT-CET 2024 Score or PERA CET 2024 scores.
  • Under the All India Quota, the MIT WPU may also consider BITSAT, VITEEE, and MU OET exam scores in case of any vacant seat.
