Dislike
- The course curriculum is mind-blowing, but some subjects, like workshops, practices, Indian Constitution for computer science students, and the boy to girl ratio of 4:1, are not useful.
- Our college did not provide any internship opportunities to students, which is a really bad thing as it also means no stipend.
- So, students from other branches also had the chance to sit in software companies, while civil and leather branches are the worst cases in HBTI.
- The fee structure is neither good nor bad. Being an engineering institute, it takes relatively less fee than the new private institutions. However, being a government college requires it to have minimal fees, which it fails to provide.
- Students who are interested in dancing, singing, playing any instrument, or anchoring get a chance in fests, teachers day celebrations, and freshers programs.
- The hostels have horrible rooms, with bathrooms and washrooms that are far below the required number.
- No, the only negative thing is the hostel mess facility. There are no good facilities for the hostel. So, I suggest that when you get admission in this college, you should not take a hostel room.

Placement Experience:
The placement season starts from the 7th semester, and all the students who maintain a CGPA of 7 and above and do not have any current backlog are eligible for placements. Companies are coming for each branch and around 50 per cent of students get on-campus placement.
Remarks:
The admission is through the JEE exam, anyone who has qualified 12 in science and maths can give this exam. you can get the admission form through the jee website, the application fee at my time was 650rs.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year students are eligible for college placement The placement here is good actually but this year in cse placement was not up to the mark. Placement in other branches was decent. The highest package from cse in 2022 was 44.5 and the college avg was 11 actually. Companies like amazon Microsoft paytm Infosys visit the campus. I will go for placement after my degree. Almost 90 to 95 perc students get placed.
Remarks:
I was admitted in computer science branch with rank of 18k and opening rank was about 15k and closing about 28k for general category. You can find the application form on the hbtu.ac.in 2500 was the registration fee and dates are announced on official sites. The admission process was very easy one also there were flexibility in documents submission like medical , gap , etc you can give the after sometime also.
Placement Experience:
Placements are quite decent in HBTU, from 3rd year onwards students become eligible for paid or non-paid internships in various companies based on which they get PPOs (pre-placement offers). The placement drive starts in the final year, companies that visit for on-campus placements include:- Samsung, Amazon, Wipro, Paytm, JIO, Cognizant, Airtel, Havells, etc. The highest package offered during the 2021-2022 placement drive was 44.5 LPA by Amazon to 2 students from the CSE branch. The average package roams around 8-9 lpa including all the branches and around 12-14 LPA for CSE specifically. Almost 100% of CSE students get placed every year and overall more than 85% of the students get jobs every year.
Remarks:
The admission process is quite hassle-free. After giving JEE Main, students can directly fill up the form for HBTU counseling, the date checking and form filling can be done on the following link:- https://hbtu.ac.in To be eligible for HBTU counseling, the applicant should have scored an aggregate of 60% (for general) and 55% (for sc/st/obc-ncl) in class 12th. Basic documents required for application are:- Aadhar card, classes 10th and 12th mark sheets, Migration or Transfer Certificate (any one of them), Domicile certificate (in case your parents are of UP domicile and you did your class 12th from any other state), Parents' income certificate (in case you apply for fee waiver seat for which your parents' income must be upto 6lpa), category certificate (in case you have category quota), Medical certificate. Reservation in HBTU is as 21% for SC, 2% for ST, and 27% for OBC. The admission process is already applicant friendly and does not need any improvement.
Placement Experience:
After the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. In my department, there are several companies like maruti suzuki, hero motorcop, Reliance, valency international etc are coming for placement. Reliance gave 10 offers hero gave 8 offers Maruti gave 7 offers etc. The highest package is 22lpa in valency international. The average package is 7.5lpa.more than 80% of students got placed. My plan is to opt for placement and preparation for the gate.
Remarks:
We got admission through jee mains. The opening rank of mechanical is 30k and closing was 90k for general candidates. Sc and st got reservations based on caste. After jee the main result counselling starts. I don't think there is a need for improvement in the admission process
Placement Experience:
The placement of the university is decent. The average package is 6.5 LPA, and particularly for the CSE branch, it is approximately 10 LPA. Companies such as Josh Technology, Optum, TCS, Samsung, ExxonMobil, etc. visit the campus for recruitment and offer packages ranging from 5 LPA to 15 LPA. The placement rate at university is nearly 70 percent.
Remarks:
To be eligible for the B.Tech course the student should have cleared 10+2 in PCM and the selection is based on the scorecard of JEE mains. The university releases its admission form on the official website and after completing the form proceedings and paying application fees of 1000 one would be allotted seats based on rank. The cutoff for CSE was approx. 22,000 rank for the general category.
Placement Experience:
Placement statics are better in my college in the mechanical branch. The average package for mechanical is 7.5 lakh and the highest is 15 to 17 lakh in the previous year the highest package for mechanical is 17 lakh. Others branch like the cs package is very good with 100% placement in cs and the highest package is above 50 lacs. My plan is to take placement.

In this college, every one knows it is category of government institute so it seats based on an entrance exam conducted by the NTA jee mains rank bases admission process is done it has not much reservation benefits like DTU and Delhi college but still some benefits eligibility of btech course is 12th pass and good rank in jee mains exam

The placement is quite good here. There are many companies like ola, uber, Oyo, and Paytm, every year. All branches have good placement, the highest package being 60lpa. Off-campus records have even touched over 1 crore.

Last year approx 90 percent of eligible students got placed. There was 100 percent placement in branches like CS, IT, Chemical, Paint, etc. Mechanical had 95 percentage placement. The highest package was approx 55 lacs lowest was 3.5 lacs. A strong alumni network has been a main role in campus placements.
Remarks:
So now I am in 2nd year of mechanical engineering. Students are required to pass jee mains. For mechanical, cutoff last year was 140000. Registration form is available on hbtu.ac.in. at Rs 2500. Counseling starts from August till first week of December. There are 4 main rounds 1 internal sliding and offline counseling.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Companies like Reliance, Samsung, cognizant, Paytm, Airtel, lnt, Asian paints, aarti industries, and also some multinational companies visit here. Last year's highest package of 55/pa and the lowest was 3.5lpa. was given. The highest was from CSE. In CSE and IT all eligible students get placed. For chemical technology from 70 to 90 percent of students gets placed. In electrical most students opt for higher studies. In mechanical 95 percentage students got placed. I am planning to give a gate as well as a cat.
Remarks:
I am in 2nd year of electrical engineering. So students are required to pass with a decent rank in Jee mains. You can fill out the application form in hbtu.ac.in. Counseling starts in the month of August and till the last week of November. The only area of improvement is query management during counseling time.

From six semester students becomes eligible for an internship in various industries and internship provided by my college. Companies visited in my college are Amazon, Flipkart, ExxonMobil, Asian paints and many more. almost 95% of students got placed.
Remarks:
To take admission to my hbtu college you need to be given an entrance exam which is jee mains. If you jee mains rank is under 3 lakh and 12th percentage is 75 then you are eligible to take admitted in my college
