Master of Science [M.Sc] [Health Psychology] From Sheffield Hallam University

Successfully completing this course allows you to progress onto stage two of the British Psychological Society (BPS) qualification in health psychology or a BPS-accredited doctoral programme in health psychology. Successfully completing stage two confers eligibility to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council for registration as a health psychologist.

The course content is based on the BPS core curriculum and includes introduction to research methods, health cognitions and behaviour, perspectives and contexts in health research and practice, psychobiological determinants of health, applications and practice of health psychology, client groups and stakeholders, research methods and measurement issues and a health psychology research project.

Modules mix traditional and online learning resources to enable a diverse range of students to study alongside employment and/or family commitments.
