This program is designed to delve into the varieties and histories of the English language. The course will give students the training that is needed to understand how the written and spoken word is structured and acquired. Analysing the English language from a range of perspectives, students will also explore how linguistics vary across regions, and how language helps us to form identities and influence social change.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students must fulfill the entry requirements that are listed below:
- GCSE: English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent) is required. Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
- A level: Grade C or above in any subject.
- IB: 30-31 points.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission to this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students in standard XII should score 65% in English (only when awarded from CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).
