Pharmaceutical science is the study of the formulation, development, and manufacture of new drugs. Pharmaceutical scientists have the power to transform patients’ lives by developing new treatments for diseases.
Pharmaceutical science encompasses chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and physiology. It looks at how different drugs act on the human body and how their healing effects can be safely used.
This will introduce students to a diverse selection of subjects to help them gain an insight into the development, design, delivery, and use of new drugs. This thorough background will ensure that a wide range of career choices will be open to them when they graduate.
This course offers the opportunity for year-long work placement between years two and three. If students choose to take this option, they will spend their third year working in the pharmaceutical industry, adding valuable practical experience to their growing academic knowledge.
The first year of this course is shared with other Biosciences degrees at UEL, giving students maximum flexibility if they decide to transfer to a different course for years two and three.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have UCAS points 112.
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5 above.
Students to have Grade 4 / C in GCSE English and Maths and Double Science Grade 4 / C.
A-Level: Including passes at A2 in at least 2 subjects. Must include Grade B in A-Level Biology or Chemistry.
BTEC and CACHE diplomas, with adequate UCAS points.
GCSE English Mathematics(C-grade).
A-level in subjects for opted course.

Work Experience not required.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet following eligibility criteria:

Visa Process for International Students:-
