- The first year of this program covers a core range of subjects from across the spectrum of biological sciences, giving students a firm foundation upon which to base their later choices.
- In the second year, students can either continue towards a degree in general Biological Sciences, or they can choose from five specialized degree routes.
- In the third year, students have the choice to take modules from many different subjects across UCL. Students can choose a research or an investigative project based on one of UCL's research groups.
- After the second year, students could also transfer to the specialist route (year 3 entry), Biological Sciences: Computational Biology. This option is currently only available as MSci (the four-year MSci Biological Sciences program).
- Upon successful completion of 360 credits, students will be awarded a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have an AAA grade level from a recognized university. Biology required plus one from Chemistry, Life and Health Sciences, Mathematics or Physics.
- GCSEs: English Language and Mathematics at grade B or 6.
- Students must have 38 IB scores,18 points in three higher level subjects including Biology at grade 6 and one from Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, with no score below 5. For Mathematics, the program will accept either 'Analysis and Approaches' or 'Applications and Interpretation' at a higher level.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
- The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 90.

- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
