Biochemistry is the study of molecular structures and interactions in living organisms. Biochemists seek to understand living organisms in terms of chemical reactions.
In Year Three students will have the opportunity to complete a project in one of our excellent research laboratories, in Life Sciences, in our Medical, Veterinary, and Dental Schools, or even in a local hospital.
Students will become proficient in IT and will use the latest software to retrieve and analyze data. Communication skills, scientific writing, and oral presentation, together with a range of other employability skills are also taught, enabling students to present their findings effectively to a range of audiences.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an A-level: AAB preferably including a Maths or Computer Science (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computing) from a recognized university.
Students require a GCSE: 5 GCSEs grade C or above / 4 or above including Maths, English Language or English Literature, and a Science subject.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students need completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
