Important Dates
- Solving economic problems requires advanced mathematical and statistical skills. This degree will give a firm foundation in the major areas of mathematics and economics and explore mathematical applications in economics.
- This course is delivered jointly by the School of Mathematics and the Leeds University Business School, which is internationally renowned for the quality of its teaching, research, and facilities.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:

A-level: AAA/A*AB including Grade A in Mathematics.
Where an A-Level Science subject is taken, they require a pass in the practical science element, alongside the achievement of the A-Level at the stated grade.
Excludes A-Level General Studies or Critical Thinking.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed 12th grade from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
Required Document List
Following are the required Documents:
- Resume/CV: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and volunteer experience.
- Transcripts: Students must submit a copy of their degree certificate and transcript, or a partial transcript if they are still studying.
- Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.
- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Personal Statement - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying in a minimum of 250 words.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.
