Master of Science in Global Financial Trading at Coventry University is a 1-year (3 Semesters) research-intensive program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This program is also offered on a part-time basis for a duration of 2 years.
This course provides students with the practical skills necessary to effectively lead in the fast-paced world of the global markets.
This MSc course is now available with Extended Professional Practice ie of 18 months.

- Global Financial Markets
- Valuation of Securities and Equity Trading
- Stochastic Finance
- Algorithmic Trading
- Empirical Finance and Accounting Research Methods
There are opportunities for internships, live consultancy projects, fields trips, contact with City-based strategic business partners, business networking, and guest lectures from high-flying traders.
Students will have the chance to participate in national and international financial trading competitions.
Students will be taught by tutors with extensive experience in global financial trading and who are highly qualified both academically and professionally.
The tutors will arrange a variety of exposures to the world of trading, both within and beyond the classroom.
Students will have opportunities to enjoy field trips, tours, guest lectures and visits to businesses and institutions in the UK and overseas.
During the course, if students wish to start their own business, the university offers business start-up advice and support.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must complete a bachelor honours degree (2:2) by second-class or equivalent, in a relevant subject.
Applications from students with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis. Work experience is desirable but not essential.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
