Master of Science in Software Engineering at Cardiff University is a 1-year program.

The course is delivered exclusively from the National Software Academy premises in Newport, with full facilities and student support provided.
Students are typically provided with a travel bursary to cover the costs of traveling to Newport and the Academy building is located very close to the railway station.
Students have to successfully complete a total of 120 credits.
Students at the National Software Academy work on the development of software projects, including that for a real client drawn from the private, public, and third sectors.
The taught modules within the program are assessed through a range of methods consist of examinations and coursework, such as written reports, portfolios, timed assessments, extended essays, practical assignments, and oral presentations.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants should have a 2:2 degree in a STEM subject with evidence of programming in the degree transcript.
Or, Students have a 2:2 degree in a non-STEM subject with evidence of suitable professional programming experience.
Applicants may be invited for an interview if they have gained a 2:2 degree in a non-STEM subject and have evidence of suitable non-professional programming experience.
Students must be qualified in IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students will need successful completion of a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, with grades of approximately 55%-60% to qualify for the postgraduate courses.
Some schools will also require the successful completion of a relevant master's program from a recognized institution.
The Indian Standard XII English qualification from the following examination boards are accepted with a minimum score of 70%:
