Master of Science in Economics at Cardiff University is a 1-year program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
The Cardiff Business School is accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
In this program, students will take a total of 8 taught modules compiled from a combination of compulsory and optional modules in stage 1, and complete a dissertation in stage 2.
Students will also have the opportunity to benefit from the Trading Room located at the School and attend University approved courses provided by the Careers Service.
After successful completion of the taught stage, students will progress to the individual research project.
Students get the opportunity to explore new knowledge and skills will be supported by a series of lectures and small group teaching in tutorials and workshops.
The lectures will provide an opportunity to understand the relevance and principles of new topics, as well as to reflect on models and theories in action.
Assessment methods vary from module to module and is a mixture of exams, coursework, essays, practical work, presentations, and individual and group projects.
University will allocate a personal tutor to each student at the beginning of their studies.
The Business School ranked 1^st in the UK for research environment and 6^th for research excellence.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants should have a 2:1 degree in Economics or a related subject, or significant relevant work experience from a recognized university.
Students hold a GPA of 3.0/4.0.
Students must be qualified in IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students will need successful completion of a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, with grades of approximately 55%-60% to qualify for the postgraduate courses.
Some schools will also require the successful completion of a relevant master's program from a recognized institution.
The Indian Standard XII English qualification from the following examination boards are accepted with a minimum score of 70%:
