Master of Engineering in Medical Engineering at Cardiff University is a 4 years program.

The aim of this course is to produce highly competent engineers who can pursue a career in clinical engineering, bioengineering, or engineering fields outside medicine.

Students have to successfully complete 120 credits.
Teaching is delivered by a dedicated team of research-active academic staff, and some lectures will also be delivered by colleagues from Cardiff University's School of Biosciences and the School of Medicine, as well as the Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust.
The course content is informed by industrial collaboration with companies like Biomet, Simpleware, and Arthritis Research UK.
In the last year, students have to complete two group projects, which are linked to topical research.
Teaching is through lectures, examples classes, and extensive laboratory, IT, and practical work.
Students will have the opportunity to engage with professionals from healthcare providers such as the Cardiff and Vale Orthopaedic Centre, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, and the Medical Physics Department.

Academic Requirements:

36-34 overall or 666 in 3 HL subjects with grade 6 in HL biology or chemistry
Official transcripts of all the previous school, college or universities attended

English Language Requirements:

IELTS: 6.5 overall minimum with 5.5 in each subskill
TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking
PTE Academic: 62 minimum overall with 59 in all communicative skills
