- Discover the vital contribution that printmaking has made to the language of contemporary art practice, and how recent technological advances have broadened its definition.
- Much of their time will be spent independently researching and undertaking your own practice-based projects. They will receive technical inductions for the use of both traditional and emerging processes (including relief printing and intaglio, screenprint, lithography, photo-based and digital media) and be free to experiment with and combine, them in their creative work.
- Throughout the course, students will have support from experienced print and fine art practitioners and benefit from working in a supportive and critically informed art school. The connection with the MA Printmaking course at Camberwell College of Art creates opportunities for exchange crits and gives them the chance to build networks with fellow artists. And they will get a window onto the professional art world through our visiting lecturers, field trips, and links to galleries.
- The series of workshops, tutorials, seminars, critiques, presentations, and lectures, will allow them to develop research skills that they will use on this course and in your future career. In addition, they will gain experience in other areas of professional practice including curating and critical writing.
- Our links with local printmaking and art organizations, such as Cambridge Original Printmakers, the Curwen Print Study Centre, Aid & Abet, Changing Spaces, Wysing Arts Centre and Cambridge Artworks, will give you the chance to take part in portfolio reviews, live projects and professional exhibitions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Entry Requirements for the following course:
- A first degree, with honors, in a related subject and at a minimum final classification of a lower second (2:2) or equivalent.
- If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University
- The works experience is more useful for students opting for the thesis-based Master's program and the admission is offered based upon publications, participation in research projects, and academic awards.
- Students without related academic experience or work experience students are also encouraged to apply, given they have an overall average of at least 70% are required in the UG program.
