Master of Science in Environmental Consultancy in Applied Sciences at the University of The West of England is a 1-year program.

This program is strongly interdisciplinary and practical and draws on our wide-ranging and well-established links with environmental consultancies, industry, national and local government, and the IES.
This course provides an excellent opportunity to gain industry experience with a placement that forms an integral part of their learning.
In Program, students will study:
- Environmental Business Skills
- Environmental Assessment
- Professional Practice in Environmental Sciences
- Dissertation (research project)
The teaching and learning methods across the course are designed to ensure that develop a range of valuable professional skills as well as subject expertise.
Full-time students normally begin the academic year with a three-month coursework block followed by a three-month professional practice placement, before finishing with a research project.
This course is accredited by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

An applicant will be expected to have a minimum of a 2:1 in a relevant first degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Students without the conventional entrance requirements are also eligible but only those who can demonstrate appropriate evidence of research and professional experience.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

Students have to complete a 4-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Students must complete a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate – Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB: English Language with 70%. This qualification must have been completed within the last three years.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
