Bachelor of Engineering in Social Work at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.

BSc(Hons) Social Work at UWE Bristol offers the grounding students need to become skilled social workers with the professional skills, knowledge base, and placement experience that will help them stand out.
Students get a direct route into practice with 170 days of placement through the links with a variety of partner agencies.
Students gain exposure to a variety of social work roles in statutory, voluntary, private, and independent organizations.
After completing the degree, students will be eligible to apply for registration with Social Work England, so they can practice social work in England.
Learning takes through formal lectures, seminars, project work, enquiry-based and online learning, individual self-directed study, and assignments.
IT facilities are available on all campuses and at the main Frenchay Campus there is 24 hour access to computing facilities.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

UCAS Tariff points: 120
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
A-level subjects: Grade C in Mathematics plus a pass in one of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computing/Computer Science, Design and Technology, Electronics, Engineering, ICT, Further Maths, Music Technology, Physics, Statistics.
Baccalaureate IB: To include a minimum grade of 5 in Higher Level Mathematics and a Pass at Higher Level in one of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design Technology, Physics, Environmental Systems, and Societies.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
