Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science at the University of The West of England is a 4 years program.

Students will study foundation year modules with students from other biological, biomedical and environmental science courses so they can switch to another course if their interests change.

Through a balanced mix of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratory work, students will learn about the practical application of forensic science and develop strong problem-solving and communication skills.
University will encourage students to do summer internships and placements, and they can apply to spend a year studying abroad.
Graduates have gone on to work with some of the country's largest forensic science providers, including LGC Forensics, Orchid Cellmark and Key Forensics, as well as in a range of roles with the Police.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

UCAS Tariff points: 48
GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Double Science, or equivalent.
A-level subjects: A minimum of an AS in a Science subject.
Baccalaureate IB: To include Science at Higher Level.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
