Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture and Environmental Engineering at the University of The West of England is a 4 years program.
It is an on-campus, honours program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
This degree is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB). It gives students exemptions from RIBA Part 1 exams.
It's also accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) as a qualifying first degree on the way to Chartered.
If students study on the four-year sandwich course, they will have to spend a year away from the University on a work placement after Year two.
BEng(Hons) Architecture and Environmental Engineering is a unique, award-winning course.
Students will explore architecture, passive design, environmental physics, environmental systems in buildings, and the effective use of energy and materials.
Attend regular presentations from visiting practitioners and guest lecturers is important for students so they can learn about industry challenges and best practices.
Examinations are held in January or May/June. Coursework is made up of essays, reports, surveys, design projects, and teamwork.
Students get the opportunity to work in small private practices up to large multinationals like Foster & Partners, Arup, and Atkins.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

UCAS Tariff points: 120
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
A-level subjects: Grade C in Mathematics, or grade A in Use of Mathematics.
Baccalaureate IB: Students must have a minimum grade of 5 in Higher Level Mathematics.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
