Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.
It is an on-campus, honours program offered on a full-time basis.
This production-based course gives students the practical and intellectual skills they need for a successful career in today's creative industries.
Students get facilities and resources include digital media studios and production and fabrication workshops offering traditional tools and the latest technology.
Students learn through a mix of lectures and seminars. They get the opportunity to take part in an extensive range of craft technical workshops at each level of the course.
Assessment takes place through projects, essays, group presentations, and audio-visual presentations. There are no exams.
This course is industry-recognized by ScreenSkills, the industry-led skills body for the UK's screen-based industries, and carries the ScreenSkills quality mark which indicates courses best suited to prepare students for a career in the screen industries.
Students will spend at least 15 days on work experience in Year two and Final year.
Students are regularly selected for international film festivals and have won numerous awards for their work, including the Royal Television Society Short Form Award 2019.

Academic Eligibility:

UCAS Tariff points: 128
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language, or equivalent.

?Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
