Master of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science at the University of The West of England is a 4 years program.

MSci Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science is a 4-5 years (six with placement year) course that explores wildlife conservation issues at local, national, and global levels.
In this program, students will study mixing theory with practice, along with opportunities to conduct their own original research.
Students will get first-hand experience of practical tools for wildlife conservation such as eDNA, measuring environmental radiation, using UAVs (drones), and other advanced survey techniques.
The course offers a wide-ranging curriculum taught through lectures, seminars, and tutorials, complemented by laboratory investigations, case studies, workshops, work-based experiences, fieldwork, and their own research.
Students get the facility access to well-equipped science laboratories, a glasshouse, and a dedicated field centre at the University

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

UCAS Tariff points: 112
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
A-level subjects: Grade C in a Science subject.
Baccalaureate IB: A minimum grade 5 in a Higher Level Science subject.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
