Population, migration, conflict, development, global crime, health, and aging. These present some of the most pressing social challenges of this century, are inherently geographical in nature and are the focus of the BA Geography degree. With this world view, breadth of content, and the development of an extensive range of research skills, Geographers continue to be one of the most sought-after graduates across a vast range of employment sectors.
There is also the opportunity to spend a semester in Year 2 at partner Universities in Canada, the USA, or New Zealand. Beyond the conventional 3 year degree and 4-year placement version, Gloucestershire is the only University in the UK to offer Geography in a fast-track format. On this accelerated degree students will graduate in 2 years. There is also flexibility to switch to the three or four-year degree options at the end of Year 1 of fast-track if they wish.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
In addition, they also accept International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 26 points or Advanced Placement International Diploma with an average of Grade 3 or above for entry to undergraduate programs.

Indian Eligibility:

Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
To meet the University of Gloucestershire’s English language entry requirements, international students will need to have taken an English Proficiency test of IELTS/TOEFL or any equivalent test.
